Have you ever wanted to enjoy a casual float down the St. Croix along with your favorite Beacon people and Pastor, soak in the sunshine, snack on a great picnic, and enjoy the beautiful scenery?! Then come join us!! 

We will be doing the 7-mile paddle to Osceola (roughly 2-3 hours of paddling).

Where: Meet at the Taylor's Falls Canoe Rentals area in Interstate State Park.

Float Options: Canoe for 2, Kayak for 2, Kayak for 1 (the canoe for 2 can seat 3 if someone is willing to sit on the floor)

How the day will work: 

• Gather at 9am 
• Load canoe/kayak with cooler
• Start floating! We’re going with the current so it’s a very easy paddle.
• Stop about half way to Osceola for lunch
• Drop off canoes/kayaks at Osceola
• Catch bus back to MN Interstate Park to our cars (bus picks up at 1pm)

What to Bring: 

• Sunscreen
• Swimsuit
• Towels
• Cooler with your lunch/drinks
• Ziplock baggies for waterproofing electronics if you’d like 
• Water shoes, old tennis shoes, or sandals with straps on the heels. Bare feet or loose sandals are not recommended.-you will get in the water to push off if you rent a double kayak.
• Mosquito/tick repellant
• Food, snacks, water ** No glass bottles**
• Beach towel
• Seat cushion or extra towel to sit on

Costs: *Assuming we get the group rate of 10+ rentals*

• $45.99 - Canoe rental OR 2-person kayak 
• $34.99 - Kayak for 1
• $7 - state park parking fee (unless you have an annual pass)
