Marlin was saved by God’s grace in 2002. He and his wife, Jennifer, married in 2003. They have two young sons, Kamden and Dallas. Marlin works as a business consultant in the technology industry.
After being saved Marlin immediately began intensely studying God’s Word. This forged a strong desire in him for truth and sound doctrine. Marlin and his wife came to Beacon of Hope Church in 2012, searching for a biblical church that taught sound doctrine with an emphasis on expository preaching. He began serving as a Deacon in 2013 and has served as an Elder since 2016.
Marlin is involved in teaching the Men’s Study group and the Joint Heirs Fellowship Group for young married couples with children.
