This opportunity sheet is updated as needed and is available for Beacon of Hope Church members only. The purpose of this is to provide information for any available ministry opportunity within the church so that members are able to exercise their gifts and devote their time and resources to serve others for the glory of God.
1. Children's Ministry TEAM
We are looking for gospel-driven, committed, loving men and women of all ages to teach the gospel to our preschool through middle school children. From Wednesday evening Adventure Club to Sunday morning Sunday School, Christmas programs to summer programs, there are tons of ways to get involved. 2. Nursery Workers
Volunteers must be: Female, at least 15 years of age, and must pass a background check. Nursery workers will work either a Sunday school shift or Worship service shift in one of the rooms: baby room (0-2 years old) or toddler room (2-3 years old).

3. Male Ushers
Volunteer ushers are responsible for passing out the bulletins for Sunday morning service, greeting visitors and for collections. Usher volunteers must meet the requirements for a deacon, as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:8, Titus 1:7.

4. Greeters
Greeters are responsible for greeting visitors that come to Beacon of Hope and answering any questions that they may have. Must be familiar with the different ministries available. Married couples are preferred for this role.

5. Evangelism Team
Interested in sharing the gospel to the lost? The evangelism team is working with a para-church ministry to set us up to go into one of the local jails to do evangelism on an ongoing basis. The only requirement is a loving and gracious spirit and a desire to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

6. Music Ministry
For those called and with a heart to use their musical gifts as a ministry to congregational worship. This year we are also hosting our annual Christmas Cantata and the theme is "Forever God is With Us". If you are interested in participating, please contact Tracie for more information and for rehearsal times.
